Satellite Zone in Vienna: A New International Chapter with “Point of View” exhibition
The latest destination for Satellite Zone was the vibrant city of Vienna, where the team brought to life the group exhibition “Point of View”, in collaboration with Vienna Contemporary Art Space. This project came as part of an international exchange program between the two organizations, aiming to promote dialogue and cultural cooperation across borders.
The exhibition featured a diverse group of artists: Annika Eschmann, Dea Shubleka, Els Van Houtert, Eni Cani, Inda Sela, Kristanja Çene, Oliver Meschnig, and Vera Djemelinskaia, and was curated by Oliver Cloke and Ziegi Boss.
Open from June 27 to July 3, the show attracted visitors from across Europe, offering a unique space for exchange between artists, curators, and art lovers.
During this period, Satellite Zone also held a presentation titled “The Albanian Art Scene and The Commercial Art Market in Albania: From Socialist Realism to the Present Day”, which sparked great interest and engagement from the audience.
As part of the program, Satellite Zone also presented the interactive performance “World Wide Performance”, previously shown in Stockholm and Frankfurt, which was enthusiastically received by the public.
Another powerful performance by Eni Cani and Vera Djemelinskaia explored the theme of human connection, both with others and with the self, creating a moment of poetic reflection within the exhibition.
This experience in Vienna marked an important moment of growth and visibility for Satellite Zone, expanding its network and reinforcing its mission to support emerging voices in the contemporary art scene.
