About Satellite

Satellite is an artistic space whose aim is to promote the creative potential of young artists. It offers an opportunity for artists to explore, experiment, and exhibit their work. Satellite aspires to be part of this artistic communication system through different mediums. Knowing the challenges that young artists often face, Satellite Zone encourages you to be part of this experience.
 
Gallery70 is the first to welcome and host this project. Its premises, located in the heart of Tirana, will be the home for Satellite Zone. 

Meet the team

Get to know the co-founders of Satellite Zone

Kristanja Çene

Kristanja Çene (1998) is a painter and a conceptual artist focused on current social issues.

She graduated from the University of Arts in Tirana, and has a master’s degree in Multimedia.

Kristanja is interested in metal installations between welding and sculpture.

Her latest works are “Tongue as a Weapon” and “I love Ukraine, Ukraine loves me” transforming ordinary materials into an extraordinary idea.

Inda Sela

Inda Sela (1999) is a conceptual artist navigating different mediums like video arts and interactive installations as a social dialogue with the public.

She graduated from the University of Arts in Tirana, and has a master’s degree in Multimedia.

Inda is interested in working with different natural materials. Some of her recent artworks, titled “Rebus” and “Overthinking,” come from the artist’s as a mental journey.

Resina Meçani

Meet the Satellite Zone team
Resina Meçani (1999) is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based in Tirana.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arts in Tirana (2021).

She experiments in different mediums such as painting, photography and performance. Currently she is working between being an artist and an exhibition curator.
