SAMELA BALAZI
SAMELA BALAZI was born in Durres in 2001. She graduated from the University of Arts for Monumental Painting at the “Bachelor” level. Samela is a visual artist who works mainly in the medium of painting, printmaking and photography. She has been part of several collective exhibitions at home and abroad, she has been a resident artist in Italy part of the 9th edition of A.R.P Project and won the first prize in the Digital Art Days competition at the Marubi Museum, Shkodra. “I want to express feelings that fall between anxiety and relief, between doubt and security, between fear and hope. The inner space, the one which is closely connected with touch, is the most intimate act for a person to know himself or someone else.
‘’No-where to go’’

“No-where to Go” portrays hands and feet positioned against a dense forest floor. The depiction of each blade of grass highlights the tension between transition and sudden movement. The piece invites viewers to reflect on their own moments of hesitation.
