ENDI SHANI
ENDI SHANI was born in Durrës in 2002. She is a visual artist who expresses herself in various mediums and techniques. She received her artistic education at the “Jan Kukuzeli” School of Art in Durrës and later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the Multimedia department at the University of Arts in Tirana. Currently, she is a Master’s student in the same department and is also part of the staff of the Creative Industry Agency.
She has participated in several collective exhibitions held in Albania and in various competitions in the field of visual arts. She has been a participant and winner of the first prize in the “Ask Your Grandparents” competition organized by IDMC (Institute for Democracy, Multimedia, and Culture). She has also participated in two editions of the Tirana 48 Hour Film Project as a director of two short films, which were awarded the “Best Use of Prop” prize (2021) and the “Best Editing” and “Best Actor” awards (2023).
Endi contributes continuously to the artistic events held in the city of Tirana. Despite her many commitments, her main focus remains her artistic development, and she does not compromise.

This triptych of videos expresses a hidden war inside the home of each of us, a battle of mentalities and misunderstandings that grow with both of our sides, the child inside us and the parent inside us.
